About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I just got back from a 3 month travel adventure and I'd love to help out other travelers by hosting in my home in Seattle.
ABOUT ME
I am a dance and visual artist who calls Seattle home base. I am also a licensed massage therapist in WA state. I grew up in the Chicago suburbs, and spent countless hours of my youth sweating and beating myself up as a competitive gymnast. This has prepared me well for my favorite hobby, which seems to be giving myself seemingly impossible challenges and then accomplishing them (most of the time).
I love most food, red wine, sour beers, sunshine and gloriously hot weather, cats, dogs, and creating elaborate messy costumes for elaborate messy photographs.
PHILOSOPHY
Rather than boring you with my own subpar musings, I'm going to post some well articulated quotes:
"You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed."-Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince
“If you don't become the ocean, you'll be seasick every day.”
― Leonard Cohen
“The truth will set you free. But not until it is finished with you.”
― David Foster Wallace, Infinite Jest

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a special place in my heart for 80s/90s shoegaze music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent this past summer traveling solo and biking around the US and Europe. I biked over 400 miles after not having been on a bike in 5 years.
I'm officially converted- traveling is seriously the best thing you can do for your life.

I can teach:
Massage therapy skills/anatomy and physiology.
