Teach, Learn, Share

By training I am mostly a scientist, and the study of evolution is my specialty - nothing has given me a greater appreciation and awe for the amazing natural world that surrounds us. I can tell you all about evolution and genetics and would love to hear what you know about your local environment!

I am also an artist and have worked as an art teacher before - mostly painting and drawing, and some print-making.

I began practicing yoga in India in 2008 and recently have become serious about Ashtanga yoga, which I studied in Vancouver. I would be happy to teach you some yoga or talk generally about the practice.

I can grow a garden, catch a fish, cook, knit all kinds of things, climb a tree, and identify a lot of different African mammals by their poop!
