ABOUT ME

My hobbies include traveling the world, experiencing new cultures, tasting new food, hanging out with friends, shopping, getting pampered at the salon, hanging out at the beach, reading interesting books, and having really great conversations. I love meeting new people and exploring new venues, and generally just having a good time. I'm on here to meet interesting people I can travel with, and genuinely become friends with.

I currently live with my boyfriend and am easing him into the idea of couchsurfing, so at the moment we are not open to hosting, but I am open to meeting people as the pass through Perth :) My boyfriend I frequent local pubs and restaurants, go to the beach often, and hit up the casino on occasion. So I'd be happy to invite someone along to hang out with us. Drop me a message if you feel down for meeting up :)

I am originally from Vancouver, Canada, but I spent 2006-2010 living in Asia. I've seen most of Asia thus far, and it's been fabulous! Travel is my number one passion and I've blessed with a nomadic lifestyle. I love every minute of it! I currently live in Perth, though at the moment I actually live on a farm outside Perth working as a WWOOFer for 3 months.

I am a teacher and a graduate student, so while I work I also study and do research in the countries where I'm located. I am fairly smart and funny, and I am a talker so I very much enjoy a really great conversation and I generally have something to say at any given moment :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had my first true couchsurfing experience last year. I couchsurfed while I was in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. I also meet people fellow couchsurfers for drinks and whatnot when I'm traveling. Sadly, I cannot open my home as I do not have a stable place at the moment.

I generally pick up random hobbies as I travel. I crocheted and cooked alot in Uni, learned a bit of piano and guitar (tho I didn't quite succeed at mastering the art of music) did TaeKwonDo in Korea, been in a musical, done various acting bits in drama teams, hit the gym from time to time, go dancing, and most recently I'm learning tennis with my boyfriend and his family as they are avid players. I'm always up for learning new things :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Anchor Wat was amazing! But, randomly stumbling upon the Karen ring-neck tribe in Inle Lake, Myanmar was the most surreal experience ever. Some of the best experiences I've had were the unplanned ones.
