Hello dear (potential) hosts and guests,

this is Jenny and Donata writing to you! We are two women (31 and 32 years old) from Berlin and Leipzig in Germany. We are friends AND travel-friends for life, which is why we share this Couchsurfing Account.

So, it's always hard to say some words about oneself, but as we don't want to miss the chance of meeting friendly people, we should now try to portray ourselves as equally friendly ;-) Seriously: about us - Jenny is a law trainee in Leipzig, she will be a migration and anti-discrimination lawyer in a few months to come! Donata is working in an human rights/migration/anti-racism organisation in Berlin. We studied "International Relations" together in Dresden (East of Germany) and afterwards did a law degree together. So you might figure by now, we are quite polically active and interested in all sorts of political/societal/justice questions.

But we are not THAT nerdy! We love: laughing hysterically, eating donughts (Donata) or crisps (Jenny) or both (both), we like dancing, talking through day and night, reading, travelling, learning languages.....

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In our experience, it's the best way of travelling if you want to meet people and really get a sense/"feeling" of the place where you are travelling to.
