Hello!

I´m a friendly and philosophical design student from Finland who enjoys all things visual, travelling, people and interesting conversations.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

At first I was a bit unsure of the whole concept but after hearing really positive experiences from friends I decided to now give it a try.

I love traveling and seeing new places and people. I´m here in the hope of getting a more rewarding experience traveling and meeting and sharing interesting conversations with amazing people that I would otherwise never have had the chance to meet.

At the moment I live in such a small apartment that I can´t host, but hopefully at some point in the future it will be possible. I´m happy to meet up thou if you are in my area.

Art and design have always been a major part of my life, and I love drawing, visually interesting places and textures, working with my hands, sewing, photography and the list goes on.

I also enjoy Joga, nature and swimming. As lots of finns my family has a summer cottage by the ocean, and I really love the sea and beauty of the archipelago.

My family and friends are really important to me. I´m always interest to meet new people as well and if the chance presents itself to practice a language I´m learning or teaching someone else some of my language I´m extra happy.

Growing up as part of the swedish minority in Finland and from a small age using several languages depending on the situation, I´ve always enjoyed languages and especially how different languages can have very different tones and ways of expressing the same thing.

I listen to several different styles depending on my mood but ambient and chillout music is something I always return to. Some artists I like are Bon Iver, Tycho, Jacco Bombay Bicycle Club and Explosions in the sky.

Movies there are really a lot of great ones, so I can´t pick just one. A few that i really enjoyed are Finding Nemo, Boyhood and Samsara.

As for books the Harry Potter series will always have a special place in my heart.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

This spring I went scooba diving for the first time in my life. I did the open water course and a one advanced course at Koh Tao in Thailand. It was such a fantastic experience to see all the beautiful marine life and move weightlessly underwater. I definetly hope to continue this hobby.

I´m handy with needle if you have something small that needs repairing, drawing, picking out a good outfit, if you need help with doing something with adobe programs. I also make good hummus and different sallads.
