ABOUT ME

Driven by a sheer curiousity for just about everything.. I focus my attention on exploring the depths of nature and human nature. Born and raised in a small town in Canada, I spent most of my childhood outdoors - rain, snow or shine.

My combined love of people and nature inspired me to pursue a career in outdoor education. I studied parks and outdoor recreation, worked at summer camps, outdoor centers and instructed swimming lessons. Personally and professionally I always followed my passions, which led to living and working abroad in China. After four years of exploring the diverse landscapes and cultures of China, I am now inspired to embark on a lifetime journey to experience more of this fascinating world.

Always up for adventure, daring and impulsive - I am looking forward to meeting new people, experiencing new tastes and sounds and creating unforgettable memories.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Over the last 9 years I have had the wonderful pleasure of surfing in various forms be it a couch, a floor, a van, a backyard but mostly in a tent or under the stars.

Interessen

I love trying new things, be it food, a new sport or activity.

My truest passions are:

- having coffee / tea on a porch with friends or reading a good book
- volunteering for Play for Peace
- getting a dose of adrenalin from adventure sports
- swimming in the ocean
- playing rugby, field hockey or other team sports
