About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Becoming who I am.

ABOUT ME

I consider myself to be a relaxed and very tolerant person. I can be calm sometimes, but also very lively and bubbly, depending on the people around me. I like spending my evenings at the camp fire and talking long nights.

PHILOSOPHY

Why should we live with such hurry and waste of life? When we are unhurried and wise, we perceive that only great and worthy things have any permanent and absolute existence, that petty fears and petty pleasures are but the shadow of the reality. - Henry David Thoreau

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to share different world views and understand human beings in a meaningful way.

Interests

While traveling, I like being active, but also relaxed. I'm a nature-loving person, enjoying hiking in the mountains, taking in the big and small things around me. I also like to travel slowly and not to rush too much. Rather, I want to experience what it's like to live in the place I'm visiting. I'm a swing dancer, and I'd love to take part in local swing dance parties when traveling. In summertime, I like hanging around outside, playing frisbee, slacklining and philosophizing about society and how to change the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For me, the most impressive place I visited so far is Kyrgyzstan. It's a very beautiful, mountainous country with lots of opportunities for people who like being surrounded by nature, hiking and getting to know an interesting culture mix of Kyrgyz semi-nomadic lifestyle and the influence of the former USSR. The people are warm, welcoming and curious. Having traveled Kyrgyzstan is an experience I don't want to miss.

What I Can Share with Hosts
