ABOUT ME

How tedious to describe oneself! I smile - alot. I am both a night owl and a morning bird which irritates the heck out of some people. I am most alive when I am outside. I like to learn new things and drive my children to distraction because I don't filter my excitement of the 'new thing'. I like to bake and can spend hours reading recipe books. I have been known to read the dictionary for pleasure... Injustice of all types makes me crazy and I have to fight against absorbing other's pain.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I signed up for couchsurfing right before leaving for Morocco for a year on the advice of a friend. Initially, I was somewhat nervous but after hosting a few amazing individuals, I was all in!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The fellow travelers that I've met through the CouchSurfing experience have restored my (somewhat flagging) optimism about the milk of human kindness still eddying about.

Yes!! All of them!!! =) Just finished pulling an all-nighter reading 'The Hunger Games'- basically youth fiction but I got pulled in. Also spent a delightful evening with the author of 'Mink River' which is a rarity on many levels (meaning the book, not my social abilities).
