ABOUT ME

I am a passionate person: I savor life and I have a great appreciation for being here. I am a thinker and a talker- like a good Italian/Hungarian American. I love to talk about politics and philosophy, to go deep especially over a long, delicious meal and bottle of wine. But I am also a mover- a dancer and yoga/fitness/wellness instructor and someone who just loves to be outdoors, drinking in the fresh air and sunshine. My best friends would say that I am passionate and compassionate, tender and strong, playful and sometimes intense with a big heart.

I would love to make contact with people who help make up the culture and community of the place I am visiting. The difference between a tourist and a traveler is a genuine interest in connection versus consumption. I also love to offer visitors a personal insight to my home base on the CA coast as well. People can change an entire experience, sometimes with a simple kindness, by being open and welcoming, sometimes with just a smile.

Oh, so many how to narrow it down? Here we go: dance, yoga, acroyoga, hiking, surfing, reading, painting, meditation, politics, social movments, bees, water issues, dogs (super bias for border collies and australian shepards), cooking, enjoying long meals, organic farming and wines, and great conversation. Hmm... I am a talker for sure, but also a great listener so I enjoy disussing issues and going deep. I love being outdoors and feel like it is a critical piece of my daily health care and well being. I have been teaching and practicing yoga, Thai yoga massage, Deep Body work and Esalen massage and other movement arts for many years, and it is a great joy to share these gifts with people.
