About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To discover myself by discovering the world.

ABOUT ME

If we meet up, you can learn more about me, but here's a brief summary: I'm from a small town outside of Dallas, Texas, and lived in Dallas my whole life. I earned a degree and went to work in the city for a few years. I wanted to travel and take part in new cultures before being too tied down. I've started by moving to Munich, Germany as an au pair and who knows where I'll go from here! And I mustn't forget, I brought my dog here with me from Texas! I obviously love that lil guy heaps!-----lots has changed, and i'm in invercargill NZ, and VERY open to meeting people, more than ever. let me know if you're in the area! ------ I like to just add to my summary, I think it gives the reader more of a story. I'm back in Dallas after years of living abroad. It's hard to be back at times because I miss the cultural adventures! So, I hope to keep them coming by opening up my couch here :)

PHILOSOPHY

Life is all about how you perceive it. I am still working on figuring life out, so I'm not set on any particular philosophy about life. I try to live by simple principles, but I'm constantly intrigued with the complexity of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm glad to start hosting for the first time in years of using Couchsurfing to get around. It's my turn to return the good graces of my past hosts.

previously written, and still true: I hope to travel to as many places as I can and I believe couch surfing is a great way to get a closer look at the culture you're visiting. I hope to be able to find more time and money to travel and couch surf more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with amazing people in amazing places and met up with equally amazing people for coffee and/or drinks! No way would I trade that for anything else. I'm so grateful for the amazing experiences I've had thus far, and hope to keep them coming!

Interests

-I totally love traveling!
-I enjoy out door activities such as camping, hiking, cycling, swimming, and whatever else.
-I have a dog that I totally adore and like to bring places with me. (he's not the annoying yappy kind, and he's super friendly with people, kids, and other animals, so everyone else totally adores him too!)
-I love art, all forms, but especially: photography, ballet, painting, sculpture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most all movies, not too picky there.
I enjoy 'rock' types music the most (all forms) and many other genres of music as well, but I do NOT like country and rap very much (although there are several exceptions).
I recently discovered the joy in reading about a year and a half ago. Currently I know I like adventure, mystery, comedy, romance, fairy tails, and probably more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

really i'd say the most amazing things i've done involve experiencing different cultures of near and far. the best experiences come from going and seeing and doing. - visiting orphanages to jumping out of plains, i am grateful for it all and find it all to be amazing!!

Countries I’ve Lived In
