ABOUT ME

Originally from Germany, I lived in Australia and California where I came to surf which is basically what I am doing in my free time (and when I am by the ocean...). I also enjoy hiking and try to visit a new place every weekend. I love good books and movies and food and enjoy exchanging recipes :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and talk about all the travel stories and adventures they went on. For me, couchsurfing is a great way of getting to know a different culture and so far I only had the best experiences hosting and being hosted.

兴趣

I love beaches, swimming and camping, just being in the nature and seeing beautiful spots.
On the other side I like to get to know the culture of countries and meet new people.
I nearly do every kind of sports swimming, hiking, snowboarding, surfing, horseback riding and rock climbing. Recently I also got into freediving which is slowly but steady developing into my new passion-so if there is a lake, ocean, river, let's go explore!

Hiking down and up to the Colorado River from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. It was the most strenuous but also most rewarding experience I ever had.

I am a quiet decent chef and (probably not so decent compared to you) chess player, so lets have some nice food and a good game of chess :)
