About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To take a chance and see the world! (Starting with Europe)

ABOUT ME

I am a 23 year old Canadian who has recently graduated University and is looking forward to travelling Europe with my boyfriend of 5 years as a celebration of us both having finished our studies! We are both very easy-going people who are eager to make new friends while exploring new cities.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm at the point where I'm about to embark in another chapter in my life with a career in teaching, so before I do that I want to make sure I start crossing things off my bucket list. Life is too short to push things aside, the time is now!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have not yet had the pleasure of hosting couchsurfers, as we reside with my boyfriend's family at the moment. We hope to give back to the couchsurfing community when we are able to purchase our first home :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, but I am hoping to be able to contribute to this section soon!

Interests

I'm an English major so I'm a fan of the Arts. I love literature, theatre, old architecture, you name it! It's no wonder I'm so excited to see Europe! A great day to me at home consists of a hot cup of coffee and a good book, but of course I'm looking to expand my horizons in Europe. Chris is a Computer Science major and shares many of the same interests as mine!

Music, Movies, and Books

The Breakfast Club, The Princess Bride, and The Labyrinth are some of my all-time favourite movies. It's hard to choose my favourite books, but a few worth mentioning include To Kill a Mocking Bird, A Song of Ice and Fire series, and The MaddAddam trilogy. I love anything that is a period piece or part of the Post-Apocalyptic genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nothing too exciting yet, but Europe 2014 will be one for the books :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to think of myself as a languages person... as an English major and French minor, I have lots to share in that domain! Having said that, I have learned a little spanish and would like to learn a lot more (and some of any other language for that matter!).
