ABOUT ME

I lived in Mexico for years, working as a teacher at a Uni. Then I came back home (Montreal, Canada) for a while before getting hitchy feet again. A friend and I went on a trip across the USA and down to mexico driving with my doggo Loca, it was an amazing experience thanks to CouchSurfing! I then moved to Halifax NS where got a job in an elementary school. Now that i’ve been back in Montreal for a while, I wanted to take my boyfriend down to Mexico so he can enjoy the surf and the sun and the TACOS! and fall in love with this country like I did. We are driving down with Loca (who’s now an old 10 y/o grandma dog).

We’re simple and want to have a great time, sharing memories along our way with the people we meet. We’re active and super friendly. We’re easy going and very respectful. I am an animal lover and adopted my dog from Mexico’s streets. She is well travelled and adorable. She’s got amazing reviews from people we stayed at!

I'm a old school hiphop fan. Also like grunge, rock, indie, reggae... and KARAOKE! Mexico had me discover cumbia, cannot say I'm a fan but I find myself popping some dance moves when it plays and there is a bit of drinks involved. The only movies I don't like (that's easier) are sci-fi movies.. No, i’ve never watched Star Wars nor The lord of the ring.. im sorry :).

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Learned spanish from scratch when i moved to mexico, and I can now say i'm trilingual. I have lived in different cities and places, traveled a bit and want to see more things, people and places. I love to travel because it's a new start everytime, you never know what to expect and you get to know yourself a little better every time.

Can help you guys learn FRENCH! Or spanish. And a lot of other stuff that I know... for some reason. I also am a good cook (at least that’s what my friends say).
