About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Living and loving life to the fullest.
ABOUT ME
I'm a 29-year-old Korean-American (which means I'm of Korean descent but born in America) who currently lives in Fort Collins, CO with my husband, Jonathan, and rescue dog, Josie. I'm an English instructor at INTO Colorado State University, and all of my students are international students who have come to study abroad. I've also been fortunate enough to have traveled all over the world, with even a 3-year stint teaching English in China, so I love all cultures, languages, foods, and people. I consider myself to be outgoing, extroverted, friendly, and approachable.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm brand new to CS but am excited to start surfing and maybe even host people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None so far!
Interests
I love spending time with my husband and dog, and I also love being active by practicing yoga (am 99.9% sure that I'll be getting my teacher certification in Fall 2015), bike riding, and hiking - although, I'm always up for trying something new! I can also be a homebody watching my favorite TV shows or movies and cooking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have more than one, so I'll just list several :)
- Hiking up to the top of Chiang Bai Shan on the China side (when I was teaching English in China) - it's called Baek Du San in Korean, and it's considered a sort of rite of passage for all Koreans! I hope to visit on the Korean side as well one day.
- Surfing in Bali, Indonesia and also experiencing the crazy monkeys at the Monkey Forest in Ubud, Indonesia.
- Hot air ballooning at sunrise and also scaling the Sydney Harbour Bridge in Australia.
- Practicing yoga at sunrise with about 2,000 other yogis at the "Yoga on the Rocks" event at Red Rocks Amphitheater.
