ABOUT ME

I am a woman who has had the privilege of raising three incredible children who have now flown the coop and I now have the opportunity to do travel and adventure solo. I am a doggo and nature lover, as well as a full-time teacher. I pride myself at taking life by the horns and going for it. Learning through experience is the best life has to offer :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I’ve had the pleasure of hosting 12 different groups of couchsurfers since 2014, which is pretty good for being in a remote northern community. I love taking my guests out to go aurora hunting and sharing food, drink and stories.

Had an amazing time staying with people on a month-long European adventure. It's always a more authentic experience learning from local experts over a glass of beer or wine. ;)

-Did some skydiving :) before I had children
-Helped build my own house
-Experienced an authentic fall caribou hunt in the tundra
-built traditional Dene drums with my grade 7 students.
