Overview
About Me
My name is Jen. I'm a fun-loving, lighthearted, wanderer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've recently moved to Phoenix, AZ from Boulder, CO. I am originally for San Francisco, Bay Area, but went to university in St. Louis. I know what it's like to want to travel, but not be able to afford the whole she-bang. I'm on Couchsurfing because I've heard stories about how successful my friends' experiences have been. I enjoy the company of new people and the conversations/stories that come along with them.
Interests
Discussion on social justice/injustice and how it pertains to the non-binary gender, queers, race, and the ethical nature of the world. I enjoy exploring the community and areas around me, all the while meeting amazing people along the way. Being outdoors and all outdoor activities associated are my favorite things to do - gardening, biking, running, hiking, climbing, slacklining, rolling around in the grass - connection to the Earth is very important to my well-being. I love yoga, meditation, and mindfulness in daily actions. I love to jam on my ukulele, and love it even more when I have friends that can join in on the tune making. I am an avid vinyl collector, an aspiring DIY crafter, animal loving, imperfect environmentalist. I am indeed a vegetarian and prefer to keep my household mostly meat-free. Photography is a passion that I am working towards growing into a part-time profession.
