About Me

My boyfriend Jason and I are currently traveling in Europe after spending 7 months in Asia, with three weeks in Australia. We've been traveling since September 2016 and plan to go through August 2017. We'll be visiting all over Europe this spring and summer.

I'd love if you gave us a chance! We are very happy to help with cooking, cleaning, and doing basic chores so that we can really dig into the culture we're visiting. We both believe in leaving a place in better shape than you arrived. We're kind and quite. We'd love to bring you a bottle of wine and share stories!

PHILOSOPHY

"Be joyful, though you have considered all the facts" Wendell Berry

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The reason we travel is to learn. We want to know what it looks, feels, smells, and tastes like in another part of the world. Our goals are simple and our needs are also. We want to couch surf to better fulfill our travel goals. We're flexible travelers and have both lived with many different people throughout our lives. We want to add value to our hosts experience as well as getting a place to sleep!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Decided to travel for one year!

Riding in trains in Europe.

Seeing the American SW, experiencing a rainstorm in Santa Fe, NM.

Farming for 8 months in Indiana, learning about permaculture from the ground and practicing massage and yoga.

Going to San Francisco, New York, and New Orleans with my mom all in one year!

Teach, Learn, Share

I may be able to teach you how to preserve food, how to cook with what you've got on hand, or how to experiment in the kitchen. I've been told by many that I'm a grounded person and that's helped the people I'm around feel more present in the here and now. I'm also interested in what you have to say and want to engage you with questions. In that regard I could help you learn more about yourself.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cleaning, providing gifts of food and drink for our hosts, and English language skills.
