ABOUT ME

We're Jenni and Reetta, travelling Europe at the moment. We got tired of our dead-end jobs in Finland last year, saved up some money and went out to discover (and conquer) the World.

We are trying to travel low-budget as mich as we can; that way we can try to stay on the road for as long as possible. We also try to travel quite ecologically and therefor try to move by bus, train, carshares or hitchhiking. Plus it's more fun than flying!

Looking forward to meeting new people and making friends all over the world, we believe in what you give is what you get!

It's hard to summarise yourself on a profile like this, but we really are trustworthy and easy, no high-maintenance couchsurfers and really appreciate if you can help us out! :)

Interests

Music (both listening and playing), art, photography, travelling (obviously), going out, live music, subcultures, alternative lifestyles, spending time in nature, cooking! Gotta love good food! We also like to learn new skills in the kitchen as well as try as much new veggie dishes as possible as we are insatiable food junkies! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

We're into punk, rock, metal, reggae, blues, gipsy jazz, folk, indie, pop or any kind of funky mixture of the above. We are always eager to hear new music and discovering new bands! We're just open to music.

Films in general are a passion. Zombie-flicks, post-apocalyptic stuff, horror, indie... Into The Wild; Fight Club; Jurassic Park; Alien-series; anything by Edgar Wright or Wes Anderson; A Girl, Interrupted; Youth in Revolt; Scott Pilgrim vs. The World; Dances With Wolves; I Love You Man; Superbad; This Is England; La Vie En Rose; Lars von Trier movies; French movies in general, etc etc... Also sometimes soppy rom-coms :)

Series, such as American Horror Story; Breaking Bad; Orange is the New Black; Arrested Development, Modern Family; Spaced; Sons Of Anarchy; IT Crowd.

We love documentaries, although both of us tend to take them very heavily...

Teach, Learn, Share

Clean and tidy couchsurfers, happy to cook and try out local veggie-foods accompanied by a beer or two or even a few! Super-considerate of others, don't like to make a mess or be too noisy, especially if you're working! Happy to go out -especially if there's live music - or to just chill out and have a chat. The other side of us Finns is that we are also quite calm and very independent, valuing other people's privacy to the max. We hear it's a good thing, but people used to the constant small talk culture might find it strange at times. ;)
