About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet amazing, interesting, and cool new people in different countries!
ABOUT ME
I am a recent graduate from UC Berkeley, and a total nerd at heart.
My main interests are learning (see: nerd), getting to know new people, photography, soccer, rock climbing, and languages (especially Spanish). My friends would describe me as kind, funny, quirky (but in a really cute, endearing way:)), genuine, and honest. To me, a day without laughter is a day wasted, and you will find me laughing at about almost anything and everything. At the same time, I value and enjoy deep conversations, and could go for hours talking about life, politics, and everything else in between.
I love meeting new people, and can't wait to meet you! :)
PHILOSOPHY
"It's better to lose some of the battles in the struggle for your dreams than be defeated without ever even knowing what you're fighting for."
-Paulo Coelho, By The River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept
"Don't sweat the small stuff, and don't dwell on the past. Tomorrow could be the best day of your life."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My semester abroad in Chile. It was the best decision I could have made for myself, and opened me up to a world outside of the U.S. that I would not have known before. I know have a case of the travel bug, and want to continue to explore and discover this beautiful, beautiful, world.
Teach, Learn, Share
Not all gringos are capitalistic, individualistic, selfish, ignorant people, I swear! :)
I take comfort in the fact that despite differences in culture, customs, practices, religion, etc, there is something that binds us all in our common humanity. Our differences make us beautiful, but we are also much more of the same than some people would like to admit.
