Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See the world, explore it's cultures, and learn new skills. Oh ya, and if someone could teach me how to play the banjo, well that'd be cool too
ABOUT ME
Currently 25 years old, traveling, hiking, climbing, reading, and generally loving life. Grew up in Washington state but moved to Austin, Texas when I was 19. There I got into rock climbing and used it as an excuse to do some world traveling. I came back to the states and have been moving around a bit, trying to find my place. Recently decided that the lifestyle in Santa Cruz was about my pace and am pretty happy here for the time being.
PHILOSOPHY
Live. Learn. Explore
I believe that we are presented with endless new possibilities on a daily basis and that it is simply up to us to recognize and accept them
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surf! And when I have a steady couch, my doors will always be open for other travelers
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far my experiences with CS have been amazing. I've made life-long friends (and travel buddies!) and got to travel with a different perspective than is provided on the normal tourist circuit.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all kinds of music, from folk (The Avett Brothers) to rap (The Notorious B.I.G) to Big Band (Duke Ellington) I'm a fan of just about any genre you can suggest. I suppose the only genre that I don't particularly connect with is hardcore heavy metal (but hey, there are exceptions to everything if you can show me something good)
And Books!! Oh man I could go on about books. I love reading, especially while I'm travelling. If you've got a suggestion, I'm all ears and always looking for new reads
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Turning a 3 week trip into 2 years overseas. It's such a big beautiful world that we live and I just can't get enough!
Teach, Learn, Share
My laughter and enjoyment at small things. I'm trained in multiple styles of massage and bodywork, always happy to share. I'd love to learn whatever you have to teach me; I think life is all about being an eternal student.
