About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To keep the Kungsleden momentum going.

ABOUT ME

We feel very lucky to be living in such a special place surrounded by such lovely natural beauty. We love the coast, and mountains in equal measure and enjoy exploring the corners of Spain where we have been fortunate enough to find ourselves living.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are happy to host like minded people who share our respect and appreciation for the environment.
To anyone travelling by bicycle it would be fine if you need to store you bike in the flat during your stay, provided it is clean and dry.
We are both pretty busy during the week and can't guarantee that we can show you around. However, we are very near the old town so could point you in the right direction.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted some fascinating lovely people during our time living in Alcorisa Teruel and hope to do the same here in Pamplona.

Interests

Nando and I are secretly quite proud of the fact that (apart from going to the mountains or beach) we have barely used our car for the past year. We move around the city by bike and love it.
Our free time is dominated by trying to be outdoors as much as possible (weather permitting) cycling, mountain biking, hiking or just a nice walk along the beach are things that take priority on our weekends.
Although quite partial to a lunchtime caña and pintxo in Pamplona we don't really go out drinking, it's not our scene. Anyway food tastes better up a mountain and we'd much rather spend our money on a well deserved vino in a refugio at the end of a days hiking than a mojito at the end of the night.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most recently; Being in the arctic circle and all the wonders that come with that place; seeing the glacial valleys that follow the Kungsleden in Swedish Lapland spread at our feet as we reached the Tjaktja pass.
Seeing the sunrise from the sulphur tinged air on 'El Teide' the summit of Tenerife and watching the shadows of the Canary islands sweep across the sea.
Spotting a full grown stag charging through a dense birch forest with power and skill on an autumn hike in Liebana, Cantabria
