About Me

Industrial Designer residing in Medellín. When I was 16 I had the opportunity to travel and live abroad for the first time, I went to Canada to learn English for six months and ever since then tranvelling has become a need so I try to do it at least once a year. When I went to Canada I learned how much I love meeting new people, trying new food and getting to know different cultures, thats when I learned that traveling is the best way to invest in yourself.

About me? I just graduated from Uni, my next challenge is to learn how to dance Salsa... so far, so good. I believe in my self as a good conversationist therefore I absolutely enjoy a good and sincere conversation, rarely say no to a beer and always up for a good meal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The last time I travelled to Europe I went to 5 countries and I really, really adored the experience. This time I want to try something new, Couch Surfing sounds like the new challenge that I want to accomplish. I feel like traveling alone is absolutely fun and nice but I want to also check a city with the perspective of a local, I believe that can enrich my experience so much.

After my trip, I am determined to host travelers and show them the majesty of my country and my city though my eyes.

Interests

I am always up for a beer, a coffee, a meal and a good conversation, sometimes all of those at once. I love chill music.

Oh, I collect shot glasses with city names 😉

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: From Chet faker to AC/DC
Movies: Anything mindfuck (Shutter Island, American Psycho, Donnie Darko, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Gone Girl and so on...)
Books: This one is tricky. I like classic literature but I often mix my reading with some sociology texts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One day I decided I wanted to travel the world no matter if that meant doing it alone, so I did. It felt like I was testing myself by traveling alone, just to learn that I it is indeed my favorite way of traveling and right now I am not ready to travel with friends or family.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’d love to show them my city and my favorite places. I live on a central not so crowed area and the neighborhood it’s great itself but also close to everything that it’s a must.

I can offer a good conversation while sharing a glass of wine or beer and finally but no less important, I can show people why this city is so memorable and so charming to explore.

Countries I’ve Visited
