I grew up in a very small little community in Newfoundland, next to the ocean and away from everything else. I've always worked in the arts, which has allowed me to travel. I am excited about new places, people, and stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As one of the original members from Newfoundland and Labrador, I was very active on Couchsurfing for many years. Learning, connecting, and exploring with locals (plus, being a tourist in my own town) is a rich experience. I met so many great friends from hosts/guests and the greater community.

I was a Couchsurfing Ambassador for 5 years until I graduated from university and moved. While surfing I have met and been welcomed into the lives of many incredible, diverse, beautiful people who have challenged, helped, and encouraged me to learn and experience so many great new things in new places of the world for me. To experience the lives of others, and realize just how good all people are, how we are all the same, is really outstanding.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Flying in a helicopter all over Gros Morne park, being dropped off under a rainbow in a fiord that would take a week to reach by foot, near waterfalls and places that no human has been able to access maybe ever and were absolutely stunning.

I can teach you how to knit, how to 'run the goat', how to pull a good espresso shot, how to make a mean veggie/vegan feast, and all kinds of theatre/film tricks and tips!
