Músicas, Filmes e Livros
All time favorite movie, Heima. It's an amazing piece of art! Watch it. Watch it now.
Wes Anderson films rock my world. And I enjoy memoirs written by women authors.
Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz
I lived in a wall-tent in Alaska. No electricity, no plumbing, no internet...all fun.
My life has been full of many mini successes and adventures. Looking forward to more!

"You have to be always drunk. That's all there is to it—it's the only way. So as not to feel the horrible burden of time that breaks your back and bends you to the earth, you have to be continually drunk.
But on what? Wine, poetry or virtue, as you wish. But be drunk.
And if sometimes, on the steps of a palace or the green grass of a ditch, in the mournful solitude of your room, you wake again, drunkenness already diminishing or gone, ask the wind, the wave, the star, the bird, the clock, everything that is flying, everything that is groaning, everything that is rolling, everything that is singing, everything that is speaking. . .ask what time it is and wind, wave, star, bird, clock will answer you: "It is time to be drunk! So as not to be the martyred slaves of time, be drunk, be continually drunk! On wine, on poetry or on virtue as you wish." Charles Baudelaire
"Wilderness is a spiritual necessity. An antidote to the high pressure of modern life, a means of regaining serenity and equilibrium. I have found that people go to the wilderness for many things, but most important of these is perspective. They may think they go for the fishing or the scenery or companionship, but in reality it is something far deeper. They go to the wilderness for the good of their souls." Sigurd Olson
"What does it mean to be obsessed? For me, obsession means being consumed by the vastness of the North, where the sun defies rising in the east and setting in the west. I've been touched forever by huge valleys filled with loneliness, and moved by rivers that flow unrestricted, some milky, others muddy, by most of them clear. I've seen mountains that rise straight up like the fangs of a wolf, touch the sky, pierce the clouds, and then fall to the earth again. Blue and white seas, replete with marine life, have inspired me. I've trespassed on glistening glaciers that melt into rivers and streams filled with ice flows in spring, producing rapids that churn and roar. I've trodden the delicate purple tundra that keeps its promise to greet the snow each winter when silence sprawls and the northern light glow. The North is a disease; if you go there, you might catch it. If you catch it , you will never recover. I have the disease. The North calls, and beckons me home." -Dennis Brown, Talkeetna Good Time
