Hello! My name is Jenny, I was born and raised in NYC but come from a Dominican family. I have just graduated with a BS in environmental science and sustainability and a minor in city and regional planning. I am super big on people and learning from them and sharing what I have, which is why I love to meet people of different cultures and paths. Due to the fact I just graduated, I unfortunately do not have a place to host people in (but hopefully will soon!).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've met and stayed with so many people that are truly wonderful just due to chance and they've all told me about couchsurfing so I am here for all it has to offer :) right now I am travelling looking to gain hands-on skills and experience after a very classroom-based education.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was living in el parque nacional Manuel Antonio in Costa Rica conducting research on the carrying capacity of the park since there has been such a recent and rapid increase in tourism. My main focus was on park infrastructure but also involved some work with the wildlife.
