About Me

I'm a mechanical engineer in Seattle, WA designing high performing/energy-efficient buildings. I am most passionate about environmental justice. I love adventures, am too spontaneous for my own good and love experiencing and learning about new cultures.

The mountains are my home. 10/10 I would always prefer to be out hiking in the mountains than staying inside. My philosophy is that you should never be too comfortable because if you are you aren't experiencing all that you can. And don't take life too seriously, though if you have the opportunity or resources to help those around you, why would you not?

I love learning about the diverse world that we live in and the people that inhabit it. It's a beautiful place that we take for granted all too often. My desire is to never stop learning about the beautiful souls on this earth and the cultures that make it unique.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My partner and I are avid travelers and are always looking for exciting, safe, and new places to stay. We bonded over our mutual love for coffee and listening to people's stories: where they've come from, where they're going, and what they've experienced along the way; so why not offer up our own home to those like us who strive to listen, learn and adventure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked to the Matterhorn in Zermatt, Switzerland with no hiking gear, no money and no care in the world.

I also ran a marathon to raise money for clean water around the world....which I think was more excruciating than amazing...but it was worth it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A guest bedroom, some snacks, fun life stories and a warm and friendly smile. My partner and I are also addicted to coffee so we're always down to share stories over a deliciously crafted cup of coffee (and can fill ya in on the best local coffee shops around town).
