About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Perfectly happy just lurching from one 24 hours to the next. Never felt the need to have a mission statement.
ABOUT ME
Short, blonde, well past sell by date and specialise in baggy clothes to hide the saggy bits.
PHILOSOPHY
Too hard a question. I don't have a philosophy - just live and enjoy it and stop worrying about philosophies.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In what? Life? Well with 5 kids plus a few adopted / fostered and otherwise acquired ones together with 7 grandchildren, I think I have done my bit to reverse the demographic down turn
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't couch surfed myself (well, not formally) but my children did, so it's kind of payback time. With so many children (and their friends) plus my own friends plus rugby weekends - I have always had loads of people crashing out here. Includes an entire band plus roadies doing a gig in my son's pub for a weekend, 10 people for the Heineken Cup and anything from 14 - 20 after a party.
Interests
Reading, real ale, wine, antiques, buying far too much on ebay, my job (strangely enough), gardening (not that you'd think so looking at it at the moment), computers, cooking....

Music, Movies, and Books
Jazz, blues
Books - anything to do with WW2, Europe between the wars, espionage and diplomacy, French resistance etc. Hate sic-fi and fantasy but enjoy a good argument about it.
Films - enjoy watching but inevitably fall asleep after half an hour and incapable of remembering any titles or actors. Have a secret passion for boxed sets of old TV series such as Foyles War
Teach, Learn, Share
I spend my life in education, teacher training and writing stuff on using technology for learning. Happy to share this!
