I come from China. I have studied two years in Denmark (Southern Denmark University), after graduation I joined an entrepreneur course and worked as a freelance visual designer for one year (www.shapecreative.dk). Now I plan to move to Belgium, so I built a new personal website (www.JennyLouDesign.com) I am also learning French. I enjoy the freedom and adventurousness about my current life. I also want to visit more places that I have not been, experience new culture and lifestyles. I enjoy creating, reading, and hanging out with people. Discuss about life, happiness, purpose, and whatever in our mind. Right now, I am into ancient Chinese Philosophy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think people on couchsurfing are usually more open minded, and welcome mutual communication. Meeting local people is an amazing way to get a new perspective of the culture. I love sharing and bring value to people as well, and I have great experience with it!

It is also giving and receiving, I like to create value for people and with people. I am lucky enough to meet very nice people through this platform, and when they (the hosts) come to where I live, I can offer them a place to stay too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went into a coffee shop, opened their menu, and told the boss that I can design menu for him, he agreed to my proposal. And later, he asked me to design take-away coffee cup for him! I feel amazing, because I took initiative to create value for people, they liked it, and asked for more! We can always take initiative in what we can contribute :D
