Overview
About Me
I'm currently a student at the University of Texas at Austin, but am constantly traveling for my studies, research, and desire to explore other cultures. I grew up in a tiny town in central Texas, so I love learning about other cultures and listening to people's experiences in life. I'm also content with exploring cities on my own, but suggestions for fun things to do is always appreciated. I love cooking, reading, writing, doing yoga, political discussion, watching (and playing) futbol, and of course, documenting my travels.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Oftentimes I'm traveling on my own and on a budget. However, I enjoy my traveling experiences so much more when spent with other people, especially by meeting locals in the cities I'm visiting.

Teach, Learn, Share
If you're ever interested in learning Arabic, I'd be more than happy to share my knowledge of the language and fun cultural expressions. :) I could also talk for hours on end about my research in aid/development, my opinions on voluntourism, and my experiences with working with Syrian/Palestinian refugees.
