About Me
When I first set off from home over a year ago, I was intimidated by the idea of couchsurfing- of going into a strangers home sight unseen. Since then, however, I've done lots of things that scared me, and even more that exhilarated me: I went bungee jumping, I hitchhiked, I've climbed mountains; I've swum in glacial lakes, fast-moving rivers and some of the brightest, clearest water I've ever seen; I've camped in the woods by myself; I learned to scuba dive; I've seen volcanoes and mountains and lakes and valleys; I've walked into hostels and bars and homes to see a room full of strangers and walked out days or even hours later with a dozen more friends. I moved across the world, not knowing a single soul. I believe that human connection, however brief or fleeting, is the most valuable thing on this planet.
I am an easygoing, goofy person who likes to laugh a lot. I try not to take myself too seriously.
I want to meet other people from all over the world who have stories to tell. I want to meet adventurous travelers who can recommend the best places to go. Once I have a home of my own set up I look forward to being able to host fellow travelers :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to be able to get a local's view of the places I travel and meet adventurous people from all over the world!
