About Me
I love to go on adventures, whether it’s just spending a day walking somewhere in the uk I’ve not been before, or exploring a whole new country! I did one night of Couchsurfing in India a few years ago for the first time and really enjoyed it and want to do more of it in future travels, and I love hosting people myself.
Im vegan and like cooking big pots of Thai curry or chilli or pasta, and baking cupcakes or cookies or cereal bars. York is excellent for cyclists so I tend to cycle a lot. I love to climb and boulder and try to do that at least a twice a week if I can!
I work shifts which means that my availability can be quite sporadic and awkward- so if you send me a message about staying I will check my shifts and get back to you in a few hours.
The bus stop is a few minutes away from my house, so if you get the train into York you can get a bus from the station to the house (about 35 mins) (number 12 or 14 bus). I’m in Woodthorpe, in the suburbs of York, not the city centre, so there’s not a lot going on around here but the centre isn’t far away!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To help out travellers, learn more about different places and different people, and travel myself!
Music, Movies, and Books
I love anything with Will Ferrel in, and Ace Ventura is my favourite film!
I love reading dystopias, crime and thrillers.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Germany, India, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Viet Nam
