About Me

Hello! I’m a sophomore student studying in Williams college. I’m originally from Chengdu, China. I intend to major in Psychology and Asian Studies. I joined Couchsurfing because I've always been fascinated by the stories and cultures that different cities and countries hold. When I'm free, you'll find me hiking, trying out new recipes, or immersed in a road trip.

My travel journey has taken me to various places in the world, each leaving me with unforgettable memories and friends. I've been to many parts of China, Europe, US, Australia, Japan, etc.. Through Couchsurfing, I'm excited to continue this journey, meet like-minded people, and share experiences.

I joined Couchsurfing to connect with locals, learn about their way of life, and share my own experiences and skills. Please don't hesitate to tell me everything you want to share in your life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love talking to interesting people. I am eager to meet people from all walks of life. I find joy in sharing stories, learning from others, and forming friendships that span continents. I've traveled to places with hotels and comfortable Airbnb but found them to be a bit boring. I want to engage more locals/travelers from the world to hear their experiences.

It’s a great way for me to share a piece of my culture, and I’m equally eager to learn and assist in cooking local dishes from your region. If you're interested in learning or practicing Mandarin, I'd be happy to help. I'm also keen to improve my skills in your language, so I welcome any language exchange opportunities. I also have a deep appreciation for music and enjoy sharing playlists that include my favorite tunes, or even playing music if I travel with my instrument.
