I am a South Korean native but spent most of my childhood in the USA. I am living to France this year to study and I love to meet new people and to share thoughts and interests! I study law and political science but am particularly interested in international relations and naturally international law.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet real natives while I'm traveling and thought couchsurfing would be a great way to really experience and share culture.

Interests

I am interested in cooking and fitness, and also love novels. I am learning french and would like to learn more languages as well.
I think I can safely say I am the biggest foodie you will meet^^ love to share food talk about and cook food.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like acoustic music mostly, but am not very picky about which artist as long as the music is good. Movies I liked Interstellar and Inception but my favorites are quiet ones like About Time.
My favorite books are long, well written ones that give me a good feeling, for example I enjoy fantasy novels like the Lord of the Rings and also realistic novels like Roots.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was younger I went to china for 2 weeks and helped out at an orphanage practically in the middle of nowhere. It remains very clear in my memory to this day. I also think that coming to europe on my own at this age is pretty amazing for me^^

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Korean and English language and culture and would like to learn about others. I am able to give the inside scoop on Asia in an American accent, which is always interesting i think haha. I can also teach how to cook korean foods.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my views and I am willing to share some new food and culture.
Most of all, I'd like to share friendship with any of my hosts.
