ABOUT ME

I am a smiling and open minded person. I hope friends feel welcome in my home at any time. Everybody in my family loves spending time with people - old friends and new friends. I like bordgames, my husbands good food and the fact that we are blessed with children sleeping all nigth through;)I hope my friends would describe us as a family who likes to spend time in the outdoors.

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really like the idea of surfing when travelling. All my favorite memories from travelling are somehow connected to meeting and getting to know the locals. CS simply makes that easier. I both host and surf.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I feel couchsurfing is something I have been doing all my life. CS has just made it easier, as I do not have to find the friend of a friend of a friend...

Intereses

I like travelling, meeting new people, get to know who they are, where they come from and some of their language.
Spending time outdoor is what makes life beautiful: crosscontryskiing with the children in a pulk,downhill telemarkstyle, standing on the top of a mountain in the midnightsun in Lofoten, preparing food on a fire in the woods just outside our house, climbing, kayaking, walk on the beach, trying to surf.. I have a wonderful husband who likes to join me doing all these things, and two small children learning. It is pure happiness to see my little 3 - yearold trying his skies for the first time - and this summer will be his first with real climbingshoes:)
Visiting me means visiting them - you are very welcome to join us for a trip, or just borrow the couch.

Algo increíble que he hecho

It is really difficult to choose just a few things.. I think of sunrises seen from the top of mountains standing together with good friends, or sundowns in the horizon sitting in my kayak, holding my own newborns for the first time,sleeping in a tent in bad winter weather, a proposal on the beach in Ecuador..
