ABOUT ME

I'm a Perthling (ie: from Perth, not sure if anyone else actually uses that word) and like most Perthlings I am just DYING to get out of Perth and see the world for a while!
I've been studying linguistics and Italian for the last 3 years so foreign languages really interest me! Especially languages that are clinging on while English takes over - like Welsh, for example.
At home I fence with a local club and occasionally participate in small competitions. I'm not the best fencer ever but it's lots of fun!

Learning is the best thing you can do. Just keep learning about life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm very new to couch surfing so I haven't had a chance to host or surf yet - Hoping to rectify that in the next few months. When I get home and set up my own place you lot can come visit!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't really had a go yet. Hopefully this will make the experience of seeing the world with my Boyfriend much more enjoyable - Drinking with locals is on my to do list for every place I go.

Interests

Although I don't do it as much as I would like, I am a fencer (epeeist). Planning a much needed trip to Leon Paul in London in the next week to get a new sword and some gear - If any fencers want to catch up and have a bout send me a message (My mask is at home so I may need to borrow one).

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely ADORE Disney movies and musicals!
In fact, nearly all musicals will keep me entertained for days!
My favourite movie is Singin' In The Rain.

I love reading Terry Pratchett but also classics like Dracular or Pride and Prejudice

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving around Europe. Coming from Western Australia it still boggles my mind that you can drive through different countries and barely realise it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not sure what I have to teach but I am very passionate about good food and drink. I'm always up for a cooking lesson, a lesson about your national drink and then I'm probably going to be up for learning about national dances!
