Hey, I worked in Aus, taught english and creative writing to Burmese students in Thailand, worked in an Aboriginal school in the Kimberley desert. I travelled for 1 week across Eastern EU on trains in a zig-zag pattern, spent 6 months in SE Asia (in 2 separate 3 month periods) and spent 9 months in Aus before spending 1 month in NZ before flying home in Dec 2014...

Now is the time to repay the favour and hear about others' adventures. I will be able to host from end of September. Bristol is a great city with many things to discover, day & night.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have just moved to Bristol UK after living with parents in Somerset for 8 months. Before that I went on a 16 month trip - constantly moving around and not staying in 1 place for more than 6 weeks. I am so grateful to all the people I met along the way who helped me by letting me stay with them, feeding me, offering me work in exchange for food + accom and opening their homes and hearts!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked into a native american reservation in the Grand Canyon....

I remember the spectacular sight of the tourquoise river melting into the rich brown Colorado - later found out this means 'colour of the desert' in Spanish. And it was! Kind of resembled the chocolate river from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
