Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have yet to spend a night at a host's place, but my first experience was attending a Couchsurfing event in San Sebastian, Spain through a friend we made in the hostel I was staying at. He invited us along, took us to the meeting point, and we had a blast having drinks with other travelers as well as locals.
My husband and I look forward to hosting a couchsurfer soon, but our guest bedroom is currently occupied with a family member.
Interests
I am just as content sitting on a beach watching the waves for hours as I am feeling the rush of adrenaline from staring down from the top of a cliff.
Mostly I enjoy making friends and traveling with my husband. Our travels are best spent with new friends that add the biggest value to our experience. We love to dance! Everywhere we go, we aim to find places to dance .. Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Cumbia, Merengue, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
"Amazing" is such a subjective word. Something that amazes me might not amaze you and vice versa. To tell you the truth, I'm the kind of person who is amazed by almost anything. The world is such a precious place that everything is amazing in its own way and it'd be ignorant not to see the beauty in each and every thing on Earth.
Teach, Learn, Share
I may not have all the wisdom in the world to offer, but what I do have are my experiences. I can tell you all about what it's like growing up as a first generation daughter of a Mexican family in the United States. I can teach you some Latin American Spanish and rave over the language struggles I've been through in Spain. I lived in Granada for a few months and yearn for this experience again.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love sharing recipes, travel stories, life stories, and more. A dance lesson perhaps? If you are looking for practice language skills in English or Spanish, I'd be more than happy to help!
