Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live deeply and with all of myself
ABOUT ME
I love good food, friends, family, art, music, yoga, rock climbing, hiking, and learning. I am working on knowing when to keep my mouth shut and when to share my thoughts and experiences. I'm a linguistics major and can go on about that for a while if you get me started. I'll sing for my dinner, too.
PHILOSOPHY
To live deeply and with all of myself, treading lightly on the environment while drinking deeply of all life has to offer and offering all of myself to others.
Helping one person is changing the world - smile, say hello, lighten up and open yourself.
I believe in the power of humanity to redeem itself and in energies that do not obey the laws of physics.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Summer '09 I couchsurfed and WWOOFed in France. Thank you to everyone I met! I've hosted a little bit at school in Portland and hope to welcome even more surfers in the future.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I seem to spend summers Couchsurfing and have hosted a few people during the school year.
I try to live by the Honor Principle, and I think that couchsurfing is one of the most functional expressions of that simple way of living well with the world. I am so glad to be a part of this effort to bring people together.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music I love especially - jazz, electronic, folk, indie, classical, rock, you name it... even more so if we can dance to it!
I love to read, and nothing could replace novels in my life, except maybe the New Yorker.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Realizing that it's entirely OK to stake a big idea, maybe get it wrong or offend people, and honestly own up to that experience and learn from it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to share cooking, music, spontaneity, packing skills, yoga, knowledge, permaculture, and love.
