Looking to make unschooling/ homesteading /outsider art connections in Vermont, U.S.A. ..... sick of feeling like a freak in conservative Norway!!!

ABOUT ME

I am a neo-Luddite, who never touched a computer once in my life until last month! But I want to be connected to other like-minded souls, so if this is the only way..... well, so be it! We live without electricity, farm with a work-horse, very into self-sufficiency, unschooling, handicrafts, Outsider Art, etc. I've lived in Norway for nearly 20 years, but suddenly long with all my heart back to New England, where I grew up..... Vermont is my dream-state..... I would love to find a way to live there at least 6 months of the year, if not permanently, so I thought couch-surfing could be a way to make the necessary connections with the lovely state.....

PHILOSOPHY

Up til now I have been very devoted to self-sufficiency and living the least harmfully towards other creatures as possible.... But the problem is that we live in extreme isolation, socially.... Norwegians in general do not seem to understand our world-view.... therefore, I have decided to be a "sinner" and get on one of those flying-machines occasionally in order to find my unknown soul-mates out there..... they MUST exist somewhere..... but not in Norway, where "organic" is like some sort of swear-word.....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bought a Chanel suit when I was 19, and was Chanel from head to toe!!!!! And I have lived without electricity or running water in extreme radical simplicity for half my life (AFTER the Chanel-suit!!!!)..... I was also blessed with intense mystical experience for some years in my early 20s....

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a weaver, spinner, bottle-cap candle-holder maker, sauerkraut maker, gardener extraordinaire, canner, cheese-maker, goat-milker..... many, many skills have I to share.....Would like to obtain help in maintaining faith in God/Being/the Universe....used to be a mystic, but have since fallen.....ALAS!
