Overview
About Me
Hello~ welcome to my profile.
I'm looking forward to your visit or invite.
Now, I study in Seville, Spain for 3 weeks.
My name is Jenny Park
I'm 24-year old and now I live in Seoul.
Interestingly, I was born in Chile, but I came back to Korea when I was 2-year old.
Now, I am a university student, majoring in English language and literature.
So, I have a lot of interests in other countries, their cultures, histories and foreign people.
Also, I continuously learn English over the phone as well as study in the English class in order to improve my English proficiency.
Since 2012, I traveled many time to Vietnam, Laos, Japan, Canada and Guam sometimes alone or often with my friends.
To talk about my personality, I am very active and outgoing person.
Also, I really like most of sports such as water-skiing, bungee jumping, hiking and camping. I also love to enjoy the beautiful nature.
In my university, I have been in the students' union for 3 years, so I enjoy meeting new people regardless their background.
For now, I have a plan going to Europe, especially Spain for learning about Spanish and enjoying traveling.
So, it will be greatly helpful for me if you invites me to your home.
I wish I can meet you later~!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Specially when I went to Laos, I stayed at some guest hostel. In that time, I met hostel staff about the same age and for 2 hours, we talked about many things such as hobbies, favorite foods, their culture or something like that.
It was pretty common conversation, but I was deeply impressed by that time even after I finished the trip in Korea.
Therefore, I realized deeply that I love to meet new people and make new friends who have other background.
Still now, I keep in touch with him by using Facebook.
Through Couchsurfing, I can make a special trip with meeting people around the world rather than going sightseeing. That's why I'm on Couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books
[Music]
Specifically, I like Rihanna and John mayer.
Since I can play a guitar, I love Damien rice.
[Movies]
Also, I love the series movies such as "Before (sunrise)", "Jason Bourne", "Harry Potter" or something like that.
But actually, I love most kind of movies from old to new things.
[Books]
To talk about favorite books, I enjoy reading someone's biography like 'The last Lecture' written by Randy Pausch. Also, I love a travelog which is basically traveler's book.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It was someday in Vietnam. There was amazing activity, 'Canyoning' which is traveling in canyons using a variety of techniques that may include other activities such as walking, climbing, jumping, rappelling and swimming.
During canyoning, there were a lot of waterfalls where I should climb , dismount or jump only by using a rappel.
It was not only fearful for me, but also exciting.
There was a opportunity that I could do cliff diving from the height of 25 meters. This activity was a challenge for me, but I could do that.
After that, I cannot afraid of the high height or water.
I felt a sense of satisfaction for doing that.
It is the video link that I traveled to Vietnam.
