About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live life fully and authentically and to know I am not alone in the dark...or in the light.
ABOUT ME
We are a family of four- with a cat and chickens and bees! We are an alcohol/drug/smoke free home. We love all kinds of food- we love to cook food from our garden and harvest honey from our backyard! Dance is my spiritual practice- and my husband is a teacher and student of Qi Gong. My children love, love, love to be outside and climb trees, get in the mud and build moats. My son loves to bake double decker cakes and my daughter loves to ride her bike. Andy and I are so excited to host people and get to know others and build global community!
PHILOSOPHY
I want to continue to explore what is within me and live from my creative and wild soul!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I learned of Couch Surfing through a travel writing friend. And now, it is the first place we go to when we decide to travel somewhere. We have met so many wonderful people around the world.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We have hosted lovely people here and have Couch Surfed all over the world! We love it!
Interests
We love to garden- we have a small organic micro-farm on our property with chickens and bees. I love to dance, play music, read and knit. My son loves to build traps (he catches squirrels in the backyard sometimes) and invent things. My daughter loves to play with friends and belly laugh. And my husband is an avid cyclist and beautiful screen print artist.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love the movies the Power of One, Antonia's Line, Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. I love the book An Altar in the World. And music, well everything. I have collected so much music for my work, that I love it all, it just depends what mood I am in.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My husband and I traveled around the world by ship in the fall of 2000 and then in 2010 with our children.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a teacher of embodied spiritual practice. This includes all sorts of mediums, like dance, movement, breath, meditation, art process, theater...embodied ways to build relationship with yourself and the world.
