I finished my bachelor degree in islamic studies in Freiburg (Southwest Germany). Since January I´m living in this great city Berlin and I am starting my second studies in Social work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think it´s a good idea. It´s a cheap way to travel but also on the other hand a good experience to stay with locals so that you can see other things and not only the touristic parts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had one australian girl staying here and I liked her very much. Then I surfed one couch in Stuttgart and in Istanbul which was really cool!

Books: Kiterunner (Khaled Housseini) is my favourite book at the moment, books from John Irving, Cornelia Funke.
Music: a lot of things (for example Led Zeppelin, Pixies, Starsailor, Death Cab, Jack Johnson, Janis Joplin, The Doors, Turkish and Slovak HipHop (PaRa, Ceza), Balkan gypsy beats, Tracy Chapman, Nneka)
Movies: I am not a big movie watcher but I liked Gegen die Wand from Fatih Akin, Transamerica, Big Fish, Léon: The Professional, Amelie, Lord of the rings, Kill Bill...
