Overview
About Me
My name's Jenny and I live in a small town close to the capital Berne in Switzerland.
When I am not working I am basically traveling. People from work never believe me when I tell them I WON'T be traveling if I get a few days off. Traveling is my passion - I love to see new places, eat unknown food and get in touch with different people and cultures. That's why I also love languages: my first language is Swiss German, but I speak English, French and Spanish too (well, I lost my french when I started with Spanish so basically I understand it but I'd rather reply in Spanish haha!)
I also love to do exercise as well as cooking for friends. So to me, traveling is also tasting food I've never tried before and I am probably the biggest fan of Food Tours - EVER! It's the best way to combine history, sightseeing and eating, so if you see a tall blonde girl walking around in a small group tasting food - that's certainly me!
I always have my camera with me, sometimes I find myself walking for hours in a city to capture every special corner until my feet are actually bleeding (that's usually the moment when I decide to take public transport to get home because I am not able to walk one step more).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I always prefer to meet local people, it is the best way to get in touch with the culture, food, mindsets.. I stayed several times with Couchsurfing and Air BnB and it was always a great experience, I met great people and could see and talk about things which just wouldn't have been possible while staying in a Hotel. I also love to exchange opinions and experiences and to some of my host I still keep in touch with them which is really nice.
Interests
I guess I just have too many interests :-) I really enjoy cooking for friends since I can get lost in the kitchen for hours.. I started to play the guitar and try to sing along which is not always easy as a beginner! Running, cardio and yoga push me while undangerous hikes in our beautiful swiss mountains calm me down. Always up for party or exploring the world!

Music, Movies, and Books
I am too bad with movies - ask my friends! I haven't even seen "Forrest Gump" and I don't even have a TV (honestly, even if I would.....I just can't haha! give me a book and I am happy!)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There are plenty of amazing things and traveling to every new country is adding another amazing thing!
Teach, Learn, Share
My friends always enjoy my cooking skills, so this might be an option!
