Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Jenny and I'm from Uppsala, Sweden. At the moment I am doing erasmus in Vienna, studying landscape architecture which I really like since it gives me the opportunity to be creative ,learn about different plants and spend time outdoors!
The time of erasmus is soon over though and I decided to travel slowly by train or bus to sweden, just to see some more of Austria before I leave this beautiful country :) The first week I will travel with my friend Lena but after leaving her in St.Anton where she is living this winter, I will continue alone through germany.
I really like to travel and one of my favourit trips was the first one I did all on my own. I did couchsurfing all the time and met lots of cool people! I really didn't feel lonely a single time. This is why I think couchsurfing is so great. It makes you feel like you have friends wherever you go, and in the end, you actually have :D
Here in Vienna I live in a student dorm where no visitors are allowed so until I am back from erasmus I cant host anyone :/
As a surfer I think I'm pretty independent. I'm happy if you have time to hang out and maybe show me around, but I don't mind doing things on my own either. I'd like to call myself flexible, and I always try to make the best out of every situation :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like the possibility to meet people while travelling. You get to know another culture in a whole different way by visiting in someones home and meeting locals. So many people have a spare mattress or couch at home, so why go to a hostel if you don't have to? :D
Interests

I really liked "And the mountains echoed", "Kite runner" and "A thousand splendid suns" by Khaled Hosseini. But i like reading a lot and there are so many good books....I also, like so many others, grew up reading Harry Potter :D I wish I'd read more than i actually do, but sometimes I just don't find the time :)
When it comes to music and movies...well, I like music and movies alot, but I never learn the names of any movie, actor or singer :/ I just never remember... :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to figureskate in the winter :D Otherwise I can always teach you something about plants or some swedish :)
I'd like to learn about things from your country and culture, like what you eat for example :D And I'm also trying to learn spanish :)
