ABOUT ME

Im from Ireland, but living in Austria. I met my boyfriend Matt when he was living in Ireland and somehow he convinced me to move over here with him and take over the family business with him. Of course, I said yes, but not until we had travelled the world first. So that's what we did, we spent a year travelling around the world, only using couchsurfing, we met soooo many amazing people along the way and had so many wonderful experiences.

So fast forward, five years later, we're here in Austria, and we are running a restaurant and a campsite, together with the help of our little daughter, Tara. And we are looking for people who might be interested in camping with us (bring your own tent please), for free, in exchange for a bit of help around the place. We're not asking for much, maybe you could cut the grass once a week or help with some maintenance around the campsite. But we'd really appreciate any small gesture. On our travels and or experiences through couchsurfing, we always tried to give back to the people we stayed with, either we cooked them a meal, or we painted their house (you're welcome james), but it made all those experiences even better, we didn't feel like we were just free riding, and that's partly why we're offering a space at our place in exchange for some help. Hopefully,, you can understand that.

Our team here is really like a little family to us, and we'd like you to be apart of that too. We love meeting new people and hearing everyone's stories - and of course we have a few of our own too!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Spent a year travelling the world with my boyfriend- New Zealand,, Australia, Bali, Vietnam, Hong Kong, China, Laos, Cambodia andThailand- we just used couchsurfing for the whole trip and it was such an incredible experience!

Travel, Meeting new people, New Experiences, Adventure, Living life, Photography, Music, Food....Did I mention Travel??? And oh yeah, I'm Irish, so clearly I enjoy drinking :)

Teaching a woman how to read and write at the age of 92.

Shark Diving at Kicker Rock in the Galapagos- big deal for me considering after I saw Jaws for the first time I wouldn't even take a bath..I have since showered, no worries, people :)

I speak Italian and German and I am a qualified TEFL teacher so can teach English if anyone needs either language :)

I am also a qualified diving instructor!
