ABOUT ME

Hey there, my name is Jens and I am 36. Since about 9 years I live and work in Tegernsee, Germany. I am an IT sales engineer mainly working remotely with teams all over the world. In parallel I grew my own business which I sold (exit) last year. This gives me the opportunity to enjoy life out here in the nature and by the lake.

I own a campervan which we use to often travel arund the Alps. I love all kind of mountain sports like mountainbiking, hiking, skiing or rope attached climing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I did offer my "City-Couch" back in the time I still lived in Munich. And I liked it. I also sometimes concider couchsurfing for my own traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a very good time with a nice couply in South Africa sharing their fully equipped holiday appartment with young travellers from all over the world. They where planning on a Euro trip and liked the idea of couch surfing theirself to get to meet as much peaople as possible. They decided to fist make their very own experiences with hosting stranges in their house and also wanted to give "back" to the community before they would then travel europe.

Interests

I like sports, meeting friends and going out for dinner. I like working from home and grow my own company as a side business...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen quite some stuff during different international traveling but I actually have to admit that one of the best experience I made was crossing the Alps by bike which litarally just started on my door step and finished in Riva del Garda in Italy!
