To live independently of the system on a 100% off-grid farm, to create an intentional community of like-minded folks and grow beautiful organic food to share with the world.

ABOUT ME

I am a Canadian writer and artist with a small children's publishing company. My books are all about Canadian wildlife, and I do school presentations to teach young people about conservation and the importance of protecting our fragile ecosystems. I am passionate about the environment and I love exploring nature in different countries. I adore all animals, and seek out wildlife in every country I visit. I love meeting new people and hearing their stories.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couch surfed for two months in Europe and it was amazing. I offer my couch or a spare bed whenever I can, and have had a few surfers stay with me. Usually these are people who I have met through traveling and they contact me privately.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met many wonderful and amazing people who have shown me things I never would have seen otherwise, and I am very thankful. I think couchsurfing is a fantastic concept that really helps to bring people together and enriches lives.

Interessen

I love the outdoors, animals, swimming, art, hiking, swimming, rock climbing, scuba diving, water-skiing, yoga and will try pretty much anything outdoorsy. I love old cities and classic architecture, cobblestone streets and sidewalk cafes, good food and good wine. I love to make conversation and share travel and life stories with the people I meet.
