Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because of corona, studies and work I wasn't able to travel a lot the last couple of years. I'd like to start again asap. I'd also like to get to know interesting people!

Interests

I'm probably the biggest contradiction you'll ever meet: I'm a software engineer but try to keep technology out of my daily life as much as possible. I like swimming, mountain biking and hiking but I'm one of the laziest people in my social circle. I love languages, but horrible at learning them!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is a though one. I have to choose between volcano boarding and a complete day volcano climbing. I think in the end I have to go with volcano boarding. I did this on Cerro Negro in Nicaragua. You basically hike up a semi-active volcano with a wooden board and then get down as fast as possible in a jumpsuit. Dangerous but loads of fun.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm average cook but will make sure that you won't go hungry. I can teach you Dutch, including some original swear words. I know a bit about beer and Belgium is certainly the right place to try some!
