ABOUT ME

Traveling the world is one of my true passions in life. I've been to every continent, and yet my heart still leaps at the chance to experience new things. My current adventure has me traveling around India with one of my best friends. Whenever I can, I work to make my country and this world a better place, even if it's just one hello at a time. I grew up in Colorado, went to school in Pennsylvania, and soon enough will be working in Washington, DC. I generally try to stay calm and laid back, and just see where the world takes me.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that in many ways life is a collection of the experiences you've had, so I'm all about trying to have as many as possible. I believe in pushing myself to new levels and trying to become a better person. And I believe that in general, there's no reason to worry and freak out. What will happen will happen, and you're better prepared to deal with it if you're calm and composed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is my first time couch surfing, but so far it looks amazing. Bringing together cool people and world travelers across the globe is a phenomenal idea, and I can't wait to try it out. And as soon as I get home, there'll be one more couch to surf somewhere in the U.S., probably in Colorado or D.C.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend Lauren and I were lucky enough to couch surf with Manu and 3 other fabulous couch surfers in Alleppey. We learned how to make an Indian meal, fry up some parathas, and lay back Kerala style...

Interests

I love art, politics, food, reading, wine, football, passion in all its forms, traveling, cooking, writing, Spanish, reading, and my friends and family. I love learning new things, meeting new people, and going places I've never been before.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've swam in the volcanic hot springs and the freezing waters surrounding Antarctica. I've lived and studied in Buenos Aires, one of the greatest cities in the world. I've partied with the masses at Pamplona's running of the bulls. I've had the opportunity to see and do so many amazing things in my life, that there's really no way to narrow it to just one...
