meeting the funniest people alive.
ABOUT ME
I'm just back on the network after some years of not being available. Things have changed a little bit, however I'm still working a bunch, still driving busses and now also flying planes for some reason. I now live on my own apartment which has plenty of space for people staying.
I sing in a barbershop quartet, and love music in general. I'm out of the country very regulary but hit me up and I might have/make some time!
I`d say that humor is a very important thing to me, as well as developing some good social skills. I like to go out and tighten relationships by drinking some fine Belgian beers with my friends! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Since I discovered the CS-community I have both been surfing and hosting, which I like really equally. I really enjoy having guests and make them feel at home, just the way I have felt when I was staying over at other places. If I have the time, I'll always spend time with my guests or hosts to really get to know them. I think this is the most interesting part about the whole network. It always makes good conversation because obviously you (almost) always have a common interest. When I'm surfing myself, what I like the most is that you get to see the city/country with a non-touristical view, which makes travelling a whole lot more fun.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It has been awesome so far. I have had excellent hosts and super guests. Some of them I saw for a few days, diners, evenings,.. while others came by just for a few hours, to last-minute spend the night. A bunch of CSers I just met for an evening without actually staying over. Because I work very international, this can be super-interesting because sometimes I'm stuck in a city for a few weeks with always the same people :)
